Pre-K Studies

Small Pre-Kindergarten class sizes of 10 students in 3 or 4 day, and 14 students in Pre-K+ ensure your child will have their individual emotional and academic needs met.  Add our optional Friday, Explorers class, to create a 5-day program for your child.

Choose an option that best fits your child’s needs.

The Pre-kindergarten program is a balance of academic learning and child-directed exploration and play. Our goals are that children will love to learn, love to come to school and will be successful at kindergarten entry.

Bible

Bible stories are taught with an emphasis on character development. For example, students hear the story of Jonah with an emphasis on the benefits of obedience and sharing the Good News of the Lord Jesus.

Reading

Reading is taught phonetically with one-on-one instruction time, as well as group learning. Children learn consonant and short vowel sounds. Students learn to print using traditional manuscript. Comprehension skills are also strengthened.
